The Uganda Model United Nations Conference (UMUN) is an educational forum for youths from different educational and career backgrounds to simulate the organs of the United Nations such as the Security Council and General Assembly through research-based diplomatic debate.

UMUN is organized by the United Nations Association of Uganda in partnership with the different chapters and clubs in affiliate institutions of higher learning that host the conferences.

Through this conference, youths majorly students acquire knowledge experiences about the United Nations, the Sustainable Development Goals and global issues in the 21st century. As such, they obtain gainful practical skills and are often not taught in class like; diplomacy, international relations, research, public speaking, dialogue, critical thinking, lobbying, teamwork and leadership abilities.
